Burgonet Helmet

This project showcases a high-fidelity recreation of a 16th-century Burgonet helmet, commonly worn by European infantry and light cavalry. The model was created with historical accuracy in mind, featuring a raised comb, protective cheek guards, and a finely contoured visor.
The asset is part of a broader exploration of Renaissance-era armor, focusing on realistic metal material simulation and lighting. Real-time rendering and texturing were achieved through a PBR workflow, emphasizing subtle surface wear and polished steel reflections.
Ideal for game engines, virtual museums, or cinematic use, this helmet was optimized to balance visual fidelity with performance.
